– Most loans are senior secured but can also do non-control equity (preferred, structured, common)
– Work with independent sponsors
– Offer mid to high teens interest rates
– Target loans with a 11-18% internal rate of return (IRR)
– Generalists except for oil and gas and no real estate loans
– Currently have 1.5B deployed
– Based in NYC
– 1/3 of loans are cash flow loans with at least 5-6M of EBIDTA
– 1/3 of loans are asset-backed
– 1/3 of loans are enterprise value loans (sports teams, specialty finance, JVs)
– Mostly provide stretch senior or unitranche loans
– Some second lien loans, but not many
– Will work with public companies
– Offer yield kickers such as warrants or exit fees
